Dark lyrical humour and exquisite sadness meet in the gorgeous countrified folk-rock of Teddy Thompson, a musician whose sparkling gene pool has generously instilled in him roughly equal parts of singing talent (from mum Linda) and lyrical wryness (from dad Richard). His solo career began, to great critical acclaim, at the dawn of the 21st century and takes in superb original tunes ("In My Arms", "Everybody Move It") and brilliantly rendered classics (Felice and Boudleaux Bryant's "Change Of Heart").
