Totally unplanned off-the-top-of-the-head mix made on the Fourth of July. Way too hot and steamy to do anything but stay inside, listen to records and get stinking drunk in front of the air conditioner.
I had no requirements except that American Flag had to start off side one, and Fourth of July side two. Other than that I just threw on whatever occurred to me, so all in all it's pretty uneven. The only half way remarkable thing about it is that I managed to finish up each side exactly with the final song, without trying to figure out how much time was left or even looking at the tape. How often does that happen? Title nicked from the Galaxie 500 song...
