Basically, I just wanted to capture songs that make me think of how awesome summer is and how happy it makes me. Some of these are eternally "summer songs" and just laid back jams. Plus it's only on one of my famous mixes where Billy Joel and Ghostface Killah share the same CD space.Feedback:
sublime has quite the summer feel.
Good call- "Pinch Me" always struck me as a genuine summer song. The question is, why the hell didn't I remember to put in on one of my two (2!!) summer mixes?? oh well, there's always next year.
I'd never thought of "Soma" as being a summer song, but now that I think about it....excellent mix.
