Many a metal outfit has adorned its album covers with rock-chick hair and cleavage, but in few cases have those assets belonged to the lead singer. Enter Lee Aaron, the original "Metal Queen" whose well-earned moniker was also the title of one of her most memorable hits, along with the mega-watted "Whatcha Do to My Body" and the kinky-riffed "Sex With Love." Born Karen Lynn Greening (in Belleville, Ontario), she joined a band called Lee Aaron at the tail-end of the '70s and made such an impression that she graduated from keyboards to lead locals, and borrowed the name . . . which stuck. These days, she alternates the rock with some jazz, but here we pay homage to her finest moments in '80s metal.
