Comment:
Another mix...and so on...tell me what you think.
Feedback:
Bad Religion, The Smiths, And The Living End are great. Looks like a good mix - Also, gotta like the Frank Grimes quote for a title.
the living end rocks!
I love "Range Life"!
range life is one of my favorite pavement songs...and i like the spiritualized...nice mix!
then on his 18th birthday he was tragically blown up in a silo explosion
i'm not supercrazy about the beta band, but that song always makes me feel good in that melancholy way. a good choice. bizarroland cover. not so sure about that one... heh.
this is really good actually
Why would you put "Birds" on a mix tape? Maybe it's on a lark, but it's a little too long to just be a cute transition and I wouldn't risk turning off someone all the sudden with a minute or so of random bird sounds... especially when there's so many great Quasi songs you could opt for instead. Just that album (the ironically titled "Featuring 'Birds'") alone has "It's Hard to Turn Me On," "Please Do" and one I've been meaning to make use of on a tape, "Nothing From Nothing." But I do like your band picks, and I like that Old 97's track a whole lot.
