Feedback:
I would've maybe included something from Jim O'Rourke's "Insignificance," on which Jeff Tweedy plays on many of the songs.
Good collection. Inspires me to put "We've been had" on my next mix.
Great! Heavy Metal Drummer is my favorite song at the moment.
Of course this is great, too. But you're right, we picked different stuff. For starters, you've included my favorite Uncle Tupelo song, "New Madrid", but not my second-favorite, "Acuff-Rose". I've got to say, too, that "Hotel Arizona" is one of my least-favorite tunes from my favorite Tweedy album. And there's our difference of opinion about "Shot in the Arm". Otherwise, though, I have nothing to nitpick about... all of these other tunes (well, I don't own their versions of "Thirteen" or "Burned" and haven't heard "Candy Floss") will wind up on Vol. II of my Wilco series if they aren't on the first volume.
Oops. I take back my "Candy Floss" comment... that's the great bonus track from Summer Teeth that's going on my next volume.
