Nice one. I would have been tempted to call the mix "Cool As Kim Deal" after the Dandy Warhols' song, but Slacker Love Goddess suits her just fine. Good to see UVS represented -- I had forgotten about that song. So what do you think of the new Breeders CD? I don't see anything from it on here.

Saw The Amps with Bikini Kill and Sonic Youth. kim was so out of it she damn near fell over walking on stage and kept knocking her mic over. Sometimes she'd just stop playing and starting wobbling and stumbling. Pretty sad really because I remember seeing the Pixies once and she was so different. Damn that heroin.

Actually, it was Kim's sister Kelley who had the heroin problem. Not that I doubt that Kim's had her share of the wild life. Though the one time I caught the Breeders, years ago, the most notable thing was the number of cigarettes smoked by Kim and Kelley. Must have been 6 packs between the two of them over the course of a (short) concert. Kind of a shame; you look at the old photos of the Pixies' early days, and Kim was absolutely adorable.
