Regarding your question on my mix: Eileen Rose is a ridiculously talented Irish-Italian-American singer-songwriter with two albums and an EP out on Rough Trade. She cites Tom Waits and Kate Bush as influences, and has had some association with Ryan Adams. It's difficult to make comparisons between her and other artists, really - one review brilliantly said that she was like Emmylou Harris doing guest vcals for The Velvet Underground ...

I don't know who this shithead with the comment below is, but I looked at their mixes and they like India.Arie and modern (not classic) Elton John, so I'm not suprised they have a less than positive half sentence response.
