Comment:

Mix dedicated to Steve Burns, former host of Blues Clues. Currently away at Indie Rockstar College. I can't wait for "Songs for Dust-Mites", so I made this. His song "Troposphere" is one of man's greatest 21st century accomplishments thus far. It is wonderful, danceable, listen-to-in-car-able, dramatic, and powerful. It's also not on this mix.

Yes, I think we all miss Steve, but his little bro is doing a fine job as his replacement. Excellent mix as well.

Nice mix, Abe. I second the comment that p the swede made about "Take This Job...", though.

i'm frightened that people over the age of six actually watch(ed) this show, much less mourn the loss of the host....but i think the most frightening thing is picture collage....i love the mix though

Tanks P and Rob. You're absolutely right, (as far as I know, anyway) Cash has never performed that song. Thanks for getting me to fix that. There are a couple other pretty well known artists who do perform that one, though. Of course, David Allen Coe(who wrote it), and the Dead Kennedys version is pretty popular, too.

FaeryWhspr : I have a daughter who's only a toddler, so I at least have an excuse to watch the show. :o)
ps. If it frightens you, I really hope Steve himself doesn't stumble upon this.
