Comment:
another in my endless k-tel multi volume burns. this one is about the enchantment of modern life. punch out on that time clock and fire up the honda. nothing too obscure...just upbeat sing-alongs for the boys and grrls.Feedback:
Lots of classics alright, nice. Esp that Rezillos pick...
like my man Muzak just said. Classics one and all. I remember seeing the video for that Rezillos track on the Old Grey Whitle Test TV show, around 1979. Ah..... the good old days, when the charts were filled with songs like this.
Just right. Perfect sing-alongs and scream-alongs.
"scream-alongs"...lol...that would have been a great title curtis. thanks for the feedback guys. i'm still morose i couldn't find my copy of the member's "solitary confinement" to insert somewhere in the mix but overall i think the burn has a nice flavor and it works well as a gift to younger listeners who get a puzzled look on their faces when you ask them about the buzzcocks. know what i mean?
this is a big part of my youth ;D, i will singalong
k-tel did punk? why was i not around to order them off of late-nite t.v.? i have one of their "disco fire" records, though. hahaha. a nice comp.
pam...you turn that tv off waaay too early. after four am or so ktel drops the charade and sells the hard core stuff. stiff little fingers lays down with debbie gibson. the young marble giants bully sam the sham with nary a pharoh in sight. all sandwiched between pocket fishermen and self esteem packages. as boc remarked...i love the night/the day is ok and the sun can be fun/but i live to see those rays slip away........thanks for the nod my friend. btw...i like the stew you simmer in your burns.
Malcolm McLaren grillin' half baked punk with George Forman. I like it.
