I made this before going to a Magnetic Fields concert in Phiadelphia. If don't know the band it would be difficult to tell its the same artist as you listen to the mix. Also, i left some cd's running when i had to pee, so there are lots of two songs in a row's. nick hornby would totally disapprove.Feedback:

i hit rewind only if the tape cuts out before the song is over. i don't like making changes to the mix unless it reallydoesn't flow.
no, this isn't my first mixtape, but the first in a series i sent to a friend. i made this a year ago, and don't remember what it was originally titled. the concert was great, and Rick Moody opened up--very interesting show indeed.

great mix! i love mag fields, that petty song (one of the few i like by him), the smiths, chris isaak, yo la tengo, edith piaf!?!? wow. just a fine selection of tunes. and i, too, often let my tape run while i'm out of the room and don't bother going back to "fix" it... it's better that way. anyway, an awesome first mix. let there be more.
