Comment:
80 minutes by my favorite first-wave NYC "punk" band. A huge thanks to lo-fi for tracks 1, 2 and 4, as they really go a long way to "making" this comp. I really, really wish "Torn Curtain" would have fit on this... or their live version of "Fire Engine"... or "That's All I Know (Right Now)"...Feedback:
All these years later and this stuff still sounds fresh. I challenge anyone to nod their head during Marquee Moon. Nice job Rob.
Oops, that should be "to not nod their head."
Awww man, I was gonna take you up on that original challange, Curtis. You're quite welcome, Rob. You've made great use of them. This is a group that's never gone stale on me.
3 Cheers for Television and this mix! My favorite song is 'In World'
one of the best band ever, but i really think "That's All I Know (Right Now)"...
should been on it but hey what should you cut ?

I'm with my swedish friend here, one of the best band ever, i still remember the first time i heard the Marquee moon album, god damned, i think i sold my soul then, See no evil is one of the best songs ever too!
Great stuff,Rob. Marquee Moon ws one of the first lps I bought "blind". Having read a review in a rock music book and not having any friends who had heard of them! I had to discover them myself and I was not disappointed
Similar experience to Gerry's...., and I *still* pull out the vinyl copy of Marquee Moon.., Verlaine can play, he can write, and he rocks! (love his solo stuff as well..."Dreamtime"..) Good job guy!
saw these guys in a little tiny town outside Chicago in the late 70s. two bucks to get in. to say they burnt the place down would be an understatement.
I love Television, this is a great mix.
WOW! Fianally a Television mix wonderful job!
