Comment:
This one is for Valis. He asked for "Most of the Time" along with some Son Volt, Neville Brothers, Robert Earl Keen, and Johnny Cash.
Feedback:
Looks nice, Mo. Sometime in the next month we should solidify our trading plans...
Wonderful mix. Especially the beautiful warble of Iris Dement and a great Uncle Tupelo tune.
Mo---, you're a gentleman's gentleman. We (the "royal") are much looking forward to delivery! Thanks much..., I'll have to trust on that Grateful Dead choice...(I can see Scott K. grinnin' across three states.)Iris is great, as are the rest!
Nice looking mix
Great stuff, Mo! Valis will surely appreciate this, being a man of infinite wisdom and good taste! (Just send the $10 to the usual place, Valis) :-)
..the cheque is in the post, Gerry...along with coupons for a new Mercedes taxi and carte blanche at Amazon UK.....
;-)
;-)
I really like that Uncle Tupelo / Johnny Cash pairing! And "New Speedway Boogie" is one of the very few Grateful Dead songs I really like, and in which I hear some real heart and passion.
..thanks Misfit.., I'll let you know what I think....I'm looking forward to all of it. Mo's da' man!
good mix like all yours, fav title "Kneeling Drunkard's Plea"
Hey fellas, there's a *ton* of great Grateful Dead songs between '67 and '74... just check out my three-volume "Billy Sunday & His Shotgun Ragtime Band" series. ;-)
Yeah Valis, I'm grinnin':) The thing I like most about that Dead pick on this mix is that it's a down and dirty Pigpen tune! I bet you'll like Yellow Moon too...the rest I want to hear!
Yeah, Yellow Moon is one of my fav Neville Bros. The rest looks great too. Nice work Mo!
Hey Scott, Jerry sings as much of "New Speedway Boogie" as Pigpen does... and Pigpen didn't write that one...
Great stuff, Mo.
Outstanding!!! Mo.., we listened to this one last night-together, and we both LOVED it, a LOT!!! Great mix by a master of the genre, MO knows! Thanks again!
..ooops! Yep, I even appreciate that Dead pick... :-D
You're like a miner, providing a list of gems. Lots of good stuff here.
This looks terrific! I'd like to hear it.
dag, that looks awesome. I would kill to hear that'n.
Peace to you Mo, forever and ever! Thank you...
