Comment:

Trying to imagine a pop radio show I might have put together between 1970 and 1980, more or less. Also a collection of poppy songs that don't quite fit in the somewhat more theme-oriented volumes in this series. Basically, just a mess o' pop crap. And what can possibly be wrong with that?

Very cool and nostalgic Mr. Lally! Some choice selections from the 70s and 80s jukebox. You mean Leif as in Leif "special guest star on CHIPs" Garrett? I saw a couple of his records at the swap meet today, but at three bucks a pop, I decided to pass. A decision I'm sure I'll always regret.

Yeah Ion, like I regret passing up a Kaleidoscope disc I saw at a mall a few mths back! Definitely groovy Sean. I remember diggin' Heartbeat, then finding out who originally cut it. "I'll take 'pop crap' for a thousand, Alex..."

Nice mix, Sean. Add a "p" in your "Rasberries" name and it'll be perfect. ;-) I especially love your Jam and Only Ones picks.

Thank you, Rob, for putting your childhood spelling bee talents to work yet again. You're like the 4th Tennenbaum child. :-)

...another good one in this valued and vaunted series. (Try mentioning Pezband to a Chicagoan who "was there man" in the 70s...! Watch their eyes gloss and their mouths foam....)No Steely Dan..? ;-O

Wow , this brings back memories of road trips to Florida during march break. I love this series. Are you planning a bubblegum pop mix any time soon. I've looking for stuff from the Sid & Marty Krofft shows.

It doesn't take a childhood spelling bee champ to correctly spell the name of a common fruit, Sean. ;-)
