what is it with international tourists? not only do they bring way too much luggage with them and a large number of white faced children wearing socks with sandals but they also bring an attitude. i suppose you could excuse part of it to years of hegemonic brainfeedings by the media. they look at you like you were the flesh incarnation of years of dopey sitcoms. potsie...hey potsie...take photo please of wife and me. add to this the fact that you're in O Town, the most surreal city in the world(oh dada oh dada), and its one hundred and twenty degrees with the humidity index included and potsie is a little pissed. now to me, the most american of all slogans has been a golden oldie baby, back when the original dudes were here. i think van the man called it "the days before rock and roll". not totally accurate van. these boys were serious rockers. and if you play their record backwards theres one message encoded there...DON'T TREAD ON ME".

i only took one double disk with me for a four day trip. it was this one. hope you can see how it saved vacation man from enduring an abrupt lesson on the difference between art and reality(as it were).
