This mix was created to conjure up memories of the tiny basement apartment/bed-sit I had in college (in a house that I believe to this day was haunted). Much midnight oil was burned in that tiny room in the name of various pursuits, including, but not limited to: completing my degree, beating Half-Life, and building a relationship with the woman who stuck with me throughout it all. Back then, I also listened to the Art Bell show regularly, which - more often than not - kept me up later than I would have otherwise liked. The included show exerpts rounded out this mix nicely and added to the authenticity of the whiole thing. This is a collection of music that I've found has an added dimmension, for whatever reason, when listened to during the wee hours of the morning. Note to Tool fans: the "Area 51 Outage" exerpt is the same one used on "Faaip De Oiad" from "Lateralus".
