Comment:

My first summer home from school. This tape expresses my own kind of QUAD-ROPHENIA. Having trouble coordinating all my schemas. A lot of strands in old e-lo's head. Seeing things in a new light. Like Dylan said, "Everybody's wearing a disguise,"and we can at least laugh about it all. Self parody, etc.
The seemingly out of place stuff sounds great. I find this tape is my best in terms of being purposive, expressive, and good for keeping people on their toes. Al Zeppy is a latin pop singer from the 60s, the album is ''Melodias Immortales Para la Juventud.'' Frank Thomas is a local country singer I guess, I stumbled upon the record. The Dean Martin tune comes from the album "Dean 'Tex' Martin Country Style." Enjoy.

This is a cool mix... nice variety... and I like the "Quadrophenia" concept.

Wow, Al Zeppy!, that is original!

I wonder how many people remember him. His name just poped in my mind as I recalled the mid 60s back in Puerto Rico. I put a search and voilß! there you have him in a compilation of odd numbers. Isn't the internet wonderful?
