Comment:

So there I was, smoking a wonderfully delicious clove (the sweet taste of immaturely sadomasochistic suffering on the person I love more than anything) and he said something like, "why are you smoking? why are you doing this?" and I (in my drunken state, being totally honest) replied, "well, it's not like you're around anymore to care"

that was one of the topics of my post-coitius talk with him last night, which ended in me trying to gnaw a hole through my cheek in an attempt not to cry

so these songs, of course, are all about the lyrics - I have them in order of how I feel.. I know there are more I could add, but that would be taking it too far, or repeating songs I've had before on "let's slow it down" type mixes.. and he's told me that "No One Else" and "Kate" are the "perfect way to discribe anna" (anna being me)

nice...'Kate' is the perfect song about a girl. definitely. and i had no idea Pedro covered "Fade Into You"...cool. you oughta take your sadomasochistic suffering and write some song lyrics...i bet it'd be pretty cool. anyway.

careful with these tracks. too much makes you think that what's happening in your mind (emotive catharsis) is manifesting itself in reality. your profile suggests that you're drowning in self-pity. you become what you think about. grab yr bootstraps, grrl!!

That Fiona track is one of my all-time favorite break-up songs.

The last five songs are a few of my all time favorites! This is so beautiful. I also really appreciate your comment on my very first mix tape. And oh, Mexico was on there because at the time I was making the tape, it just really felt right since I was thinking of a once special someone who had hurt me since he would always "only think about (him)self". Thanks again. Great stuff!

I live by High Fidelity! hehe. I own the movie and a big reason why I love it is that Jack Black is in it! he totally rocks. :)
