Comment:
Or what I did with my Friday night. A-Z artists Z-A songs with X off on it's own (hey, I didn't name the damn song ;-). I cheated twice, Using Iris Dement's first name and using X as a wild card because I didn't have a Q artist with an I song. Phew. (8/3/02 - What the hell was I thinking...fixed the Q cheat).Feedback:
ray charles and Nirvana. Wow! good mix, Curtis
Cheating is allowed in the name of a good mix. Nice work. This stuff fits together in ways beyond the alphabetization. And that Alison Krauss tune is fabulous.
impressive.
bluey and i started a phenomenon.
wow, impressive. lots of great stuff on here, incl. gorkys, yo la tengo and velocity girl (i used to dig the 'drug girls' song ages go - seeing it here reminded me how much i loved it).
impressing work and good picks
This is why you should own Quasi's "Featuring Birds," which features THREE excellent I songs, my personal recommendation "It's Hard to Turn Me On."
great mix curtis. love that "whiskeytown" cut.
Uncle Wiggly! Still dig them old Shimmy Discs.
i always like mixing aphex twin with steve earle. nice one curtis!
nice concept
woohoo! @ Velocity Girl ..and Yo La Tengo and Aphex Twin, come to think..
inspired work! great job...
An incredibly well- crafted and thought-out, mind-boggling piece of musical eclecticism to which I solemnly take off my non-existent hat. BOY, what a great record!
