fantabulous mix...i'd laugh if the story wasn't so tragic...but you've captured it perfectly!

Great mix, as always, Curtis. I especially like the Sonic Youth> Abbey Lincoln transition.

As I'm looking at this mix right now, the news blurb "2 Dead As Storms Sweep Through Area" is showing on the left of my screen. As Lou Christie sang, "Lightning's striking again..." Great mix!

Misfit - You know, I intentionally left the Lou Christie song off of this mix only because it was the first thing that popped into my head when I read the story.

opening with the ad-libs. masterful. on a whim you could have closed with "new yorks a lonely town". smile. you raise the bar relentlessly curtis.

this looks pretty cool. i dig creative mixes like this that take something out of left field and build a soundtrack around it. well done!

Nate was my cousin and best friend, and I'm just totally surprised that as I sit here waiting to fly to America that there is a mix about him... Somehow I can't really join in your fun making...

Antbabe - My sympathies are with you. This mix was absolutely not intended to make fun of the tragedy, but, rather to build a narrattive, clumsily, insensitively perhaps, but, with no malice intended. I will certainly remove this mix if you like. Again, please accept my apologies and condolences.

a very sad story...sadder especially when someone so young and probably quite bright dies so stupidly.
