You can take the singer out of Zeppelin, but you can never [i]really[/i] take Zeppelin out of the singer. No matter how he branched out in his solo career, Robert Plant could still wield that hard-rock hammer when the spirit moved him. With its lusty lyrics and raging riffs, "Big Love" is what Led Zep might have sounded like if they'd lasted another decade. Plant's high-testosterone moan and Cozy Powell's mighty, John Bonham-like wallop make "Slow Dancer" seem like a [i]Houses of the Holy[/i] outtake. And the swaying Eastern mysticism of Zeppelin classics like "Kashmir" casts its spell as hypnotically as ever on "Another Tribe."
