Comment:

In the first week of 2009, Jimmy Page's manager broke the news: "Led Zeppelin are over! If you didn't see them in 2007, you missed them" — which promptly brought rock fans' reunion dreams crashing to the ground like a . . . do we really need to say it? And that's why we simply had to bring you all the killer cuts from their three live albums. Or should we say, their three authorized live albums; after all, Led Zep's seen more bootlegs than a South Side speakeasy during Prohibition. In their day, they defined live concert massitivity, marauding across the globe like a one-band festival. Arena rock? Forget it. This is stadium rock, Stonehenge rock, supersized and supersonic. We've got all your favorites: "Stairway to Heaven," "Black Dog," "Immigrant Song," Whole Lotta Love," and a whole lot more, in the ultimate live concert from the ultimate live artist. It's as close as you're ever gonna get to seeing Led Zeppelin's greatest show that never was . . . and now, may never be.
