Being a music critic/reviewer, there's always a lot of awful crap you have to write up. But there's also the really great stuff that you probably wouldn't have heard if you weren't doing this gig. This disc is a collection of a lot of the great indie label pop and rock that I have enjoyed from 2001. Top recommendations here personally would be Chris Butler, Coco B's Basement Songs, Linus of Hollywood, Those Peabodys, Tik N'Tak, Patti Rothberg, and Amanda Thorpe.
