Comment:

Australian Paul Kelly is one of my very favorite artists: a great songwriter and a wonderful singer. The title comes from his song "Gossip," which didn't make the cut.

YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY !!!! My wife is the world's biggest Paul Kelly fan, and she turned me on to his stuff. He's amazing and you've chosen some of his best stuff. Especially LOVE tracks 5, 7, 10, 11, 13, 15, 16, 18, 19, and 21, but all of these tunes are fab. Paul is certainly not a 1-disc artist. Maybe it's time for a series? I've seen him twice and each time he was amazing. He also did an in-studio appearance where my wife works and we were blown away. We had drinks with him after the show - what a perfectly nice chap. Glad to see this mix appear. The Duncan Sheiks of the world could learn a thing or three from Paul. Honestly, I put him up there as a latter-day Dylan. Every bit as poetic and relevant as Springsteen, though I like Paul a lot more.

Terrific. If I had a theme song, to play whenever I enter a scene, it would be Paul Kelly's "(I've Done All The) Dumb Things."

I would really like this. I've only heard one of his tracks, on Sean's "In the court of birds" mix. I thought it was excellent, so if you're up for a trade?

Hmmm, I'm afraid I don't know this cat at all...sounds like I need an introduction...

Agree with what Mr Lally said about Paul Kelly as a live performer. About the only other thing I could suggest here that's missing would be "Leaps and Bounds". Otherwise, fine introductory set.

I'm interested in this (or, in the alternative, interested in a similar mix that Sean was supposed to make a long time ago).

Wow...you have some great mixes...if you're still up for a trade for my 'Bustin' Loose' CD's that you commented on I'd definitely want this one...not sure about #2 though...feel like doing something custom? Let me know.
