Comment:

This is the first in a series of six discs I recorded principally to bring back memories of one of the best clubs I have ever attended. I was living in Bournemouth, England in the early 1990s and my social life at that time pretty much revolved around Marshmallow Moon and another club called Groove Grind, which I'll post track listings for very soon.
Marshmallow Moon was hosted on Saturday nights at a venue called the Hot House, which was situated near to where I was living. The DJ, named Goldfish, seemed to really love what he was doing and could often be seen on the dancefloor when Thousand Yard Stare songs came on. Another nice touch about the club were the bowls of sweets on the DJ console. The flyers were very creatively put together too, and I'll no doubt be quoting from some of them in the commentaries for the next few Volumes of this series.
I don't know exactly when Marshmallow Moon ended, as I left Bournemouth in 1992 and only payed fleeting visits after that. I know the Hot House still exists, but sadly Marshmallow Moon doesn't.
Anyway, I have six discs worth of great music to keep the memories alive.
