31) The Cramps - "Human Fly" -- Late one night I was battling a particularly loud and large fly. I'll tell ya, even more annoying than having to kill a fly is trying to do it while your girlfriend is asleep in the next room and it's likely the neighbors in the adjacent apartment are sleeping as well. Anyway, the song titles pretty much tell the tale of being bugged by a fly, creeping up on it, attacking, declaring war, growing more enraged, making violent threats to it, firing a cannon that breaks the screen door, a swarm of flies converge and attack me, I suffer a John Zorn-style freakout, then finally become the Human Fly. The styles/genres of the song pretty much keep in line with the anger that one damned fly caused me. Oh, and, in the end, the thing just up and disappeared.

curious omission of 'human fly' by the cramps.
