Part one of a two-volume set for a friend at the local pub. Many of these songs refer to conversations we've had or people we know (okay, me). The title comes from the Vermont tune. Also, most of these tracks have turned up on my other recent mixes - I didn't want to dump 5-6 discs on her, so I've boiled them down to two discs of stuff she needs to hear. This one is all the angsty stuff, starting slow, soft & mellow, building up into the louder stuff (and flowing right into disc two, natch).
