It's been a year since things with my last girlfriend has dissipated. I was thinking about her last night, and realized that I have no connection with her anymore and that scores of people know her better than I do - all this made me quite sad and sent me to the burner. So I spent the day charting this CD and chronicling the past year from heart-shattering, to indifference, to moving on and opening up again. Although it has not been a steady 12 step program to happiness ... sometimes in mere hours I flow through them all. Anyways these songs express the ups and downs I've felt.
