Comment:
imation cd-r [80][this is a re-working of a first attempt -- "meet me at the harbour" and "i found that essence rare" have replaced "(i am) what i am not" and "little discourage." absurd, i suppose, to build a favorites disc around one, almost-full record ("the remote part"), but that's my favorite from the band, and that's my starting place. actually, i was turned on to the band by a random comment in alt.music.radiohead -- that idlewild was beginning to sound a lot like r.e.m. that seemed to be a bad thing for that person, but, as r.e.m. remains a favorite of mine, i decided to check out idlewild and "the remote part." glad i did (though the r.e.m. comparisons should not be taken too literally).]
Feedback:
oy, that's good stuff.
