Comment:
While the media begins to whip the US into a frenzy over first-anniversary remembrances of 9-11, here is my memento of that tragic day, made within 48 hours of the attacks. Could be better (and maybe longer), but it captures my conflicting emotions at the time.Feedback:
Nice. Love the Pink Floyd and King Crimson picks.
chilling stuff. but well done.
very nice mix dj...i'll join curtis on the king crimson kudos. the one song, and pretty much the only song, since 9/11 that brings it all back to me is laurie anderson's "o superman"...it has an eerie chilling quality to it..."here come the planes/and they're american planes/made in america/smoking/or non smoking...".
it goes on from there. almost sounds like it should have been written after not before. sorry to ramble on.

Yow, artaud9, that's chilling. Someone has also made a video piece on the 9-11 attacks using Radiohead's "Idioteque." I thought about adding that (and "O Superman" would make a nice addition), but in the end decided to stay with the immediacy of what I compiled last year. It's like a snapshot that way.
