Several influences here. I had just taken a History of American Pop Music class in college and decided it was ok to start getting into some of my dad's rock music again. Plus, I missed home (was going to school 5 1/2 hours away) and wanted a mix to remind me of home. ALSO *grins* parts of this mix are about a relationship I was in at the time, but couldn't talk about with anyone.
