Comment:
It goes like this: Boy and Girl driving a long distance...while doing so they listen to the Beatles. BOY remarks (as they listen to 'Come Together'), "I like the Beatles drug era way better then the 'I Want To Hold Your Hand' era. How 'bout you?"...to which GIRL replies, with shocked horror, "THE BEATLES DID DRUGS?!?". It is at this moment that BOY realizes the relationship is doomed and he should get out of the car and run for his life. Instead, relations run their course and, some years later, the memory of said incident returns and a mix CD is made. God bless you, "A" (no first names)...wherever you are...enjoy those Jars of Clay CD's, ok?Feedback:
This looks really nice. I like the Rollins, Joe Henry, Paul Westerberg and Tommy Conwell tracks, especially.
Scary story. That's definitely a bad sign in a relationship. Oh well, you picked an excellent Smashing Pumpkins cover.
Are you serious? The Beatles did drugs!? Nice mix, BTW
The Beatles didn't drugs, Yoko Ono did drugs, but not the boys in the band. Nice mix. Love that Steve Earle version.
I'm inclined to believe that's all so much mythologizing...., certainly nothing in the music to indicate their drug use. ;~D
that's so damn cute. oh dear. nice work! :)
THE BEATLES DID DRUGS???!?!? Na' i'm kidding. Nice mix
Nice Neat story. So sharp it sort of hurts (in a hits home kind of way)...maybe A is a Creed fan now or something...where there's hope there's fire....
