Holy crap! Taft's Brigade is the most influential band of the mid-80's and anybody who doesn't agree is a crackhead.

The theories I ahev about Brandt are:
1) He ran away and joined the religious cult called The Island of Circles. This cult worships Donovan. The church prophets are Belle and Sebastian, whose words converted Brandt.
2) He is trying out for the new Monkees.
3) He has no computer access from home and will return when his studies resume.

Rob and I thought that he might have an AOTM stalker that did him in for his K-records collection.

Thanks for the update on Brandt, Mr. Casetta. I'm assuming no. 3 is the actual reason why one of this site's most prolific mixers suddenly disappeared without a trace. Either that or he joined a 70s tribute band called BRANDt FUNdaK Railroad. Nice mix BTW!

I actually thought that it was for his collection of Belle & Sebastian outtakes, Sean ... nice mix, Prof. I've now gotten two copies of that Mos' Def anthology. :-)

Incidentally, no. 3 can't be the reason (seriously), as Brandt's been out of school for quite awhile. I actually *am* worried about the guy.

Jesse Michaels lives in your basement, huh? How do you keep the shadow of a legend well fed? (And everyone hates Hoboken. It's too goddamn expensive.)
