After going crazy over Sonic Youth and The Pixies over the last year or two, I decided it was time to see what the rest of the 80's college rock scene had to offer. This is my first quick mp3-fueled scan over the genre and I'm more than satisfied. This CD's going out to my best friend in Vegas. He's seventeen, I'm sixteen, which explains why we haven't been into most of these bands before (aside from the aforementioned Pixies and Youth along with The Pogues and Morrissey).
