Comment:

While compiling the Hillbilly Fever series, I found myself with a bunch of cowboy songs on my hands. "Wouldn't it be fun to make a cowboy mix?" I asked myself. And it was. I didn't want this to turn into a Time-Life does Cowboy Songs, or something you might see sold on late night TV, but there were a few classics I just couldn't bear to leave out. The title comes from one of the tracks, but it also nicely sums up the mix. The variety of the artists shows that anybody can, and nearly everybody does, sing a cowboy song now and then. Hope all you buckaroos and buckarettes enjoy the finished product. "COME A COW COW YICKY YICKY YEA!!"

A warm campfire . . . a hot cup o' coffee . . and a mix such as this one. I'm swingin' my non-existent lariat and have a healthy swig from the ol' whiskey bottle to your health, m' boy.
