Comment:
While compiling the Hillbilly Fever series, I found myself with a bunch of cowboy songs on my hands. "Wouldn't it be fun to make a cowboy mix?" I asked myself. And it was. I didn't want this to turn into a Time-Life does Cowboy Songs, or something you might see sold on late night TV, but there were a few classics I just couldn't bear to leave out. The title comes from one of the tracks, but it also nicely sums up the mix. The variety of the artists shows that anybody can, and nearly everybody does, sing a cowboy song now and then. Hope all you buckaroos and buckarettes enjoy the finished product. "COME A COW COW YICKY YICKY YEA!!"Feedback:
Sons of the Pioneers to Firesign Theater. Sheer fucking brilliance!
Lee Marvin... Really!? this looks awesome.
This definitely looks cool. Nice job!
Franklin.., you're fast becoming Master of the genre......kudos! Ahh, Lee Marvin on the jukebox..."Wandrin' Star"....that Dean piece woulda' worked here.
Yee haw! Great stuff as always Franklin.
I LOVE cowboy songs! Great mix!
A warm campfire . . . a hot cup o' coffee . . and a mix such as this one. I'm swingin' my non-existent lariat and have a healthy swig from the ol' whiskey bottle to your health, m' boy.
Looks really nice (the cover to QMS's Happy Trails would go well with this)
yee haw! This looks great, Steve
