Comment:

At the time this was written, the Dave Matthews Band had logged 2,100-plus live dates over the course of their career . . . so far. Think about it: that comes to a show a day for nearly six solid years. This decade alone, their concerts have grossed nearly half-a-billion dollars. But fans just can't seem to get enough; even those who flock to see them live trade concert tapes in the biggest communal swapfest since the Dead's heyday. On top of that, the band's released no fewer than 28 official live packages, many of them multi-disc sets. Fortunately, we've sorted it all out for you, from the speaker-shredding fury of "All Along the Watchtower" on Live At Piedmont Park to Matthews' gorgeous, acoustic reworking of "Crash Into Me" (in tandem with occasional touring partner Tim Reynolds) on Live At Luther College. We've made it easy to get into the DMB groove with our ultimate career-spanning fantasy concert from one of rock's all-time greatest live acts . . . and you don't have to pay scalpers' prices for the best seat in the house.
