Comment:
Rob's mix. There's a slight recurring theme of love and drinking (Jack L.'s "Everybody's Drunk" was on an earlier draft but was cut for the sake of flow). Having been recently introduced to the cult of the Wicker Man I wanted to include a song from the film on the mix but the only one I could find on WinMX was "Willow's Song" (aka the naked arseslapping dance scene). Well, if anything Rob's enjoyment of the song will increase when he goes back to its original source!! And finally, that Bees song was supposed to be "This Town", not the Os Mutantes cover. At first I was upset at my careless mistake but I think the song fits just as well.Feedback:
Whoa! This is crazy (in the best way), Kathleen! Did I ever respond to your query re: the Wicker Man thing? If not, I will soon. Let me know what I owe you again...
Extremely cool mix Kathleen. Are you sure Rob deserves this? ;)
Looks very cool. The Mock Turtles also do a very great version of "Willow's Song". Sneaker Pimps also did a version of it titled "How Do". Autour de Lucie did a version too, with lyrics re-written by Michael Head (Shack, Pale Fountains). Hmmm...probably too much info, eh? Anyway, might like to do a trade or two with you if you are up for it Kathleen. Regards, Brent
