I've worked in and around public radio for the last ten years (where does the time go?) and this mix is a sampling of stuff I've heard about or heard for the first time either on NPR programs or within the CD library of the two different stations I've been with.

very fun, great great mix. medeski, martin, and wood are fabulous live, if you ever get a chance to see them. it was a few years ago that i saw them, but i remember not being able to move for their whole set, it was that good.

every time i see medeski martin and wood my spine tingles. They just groove so well. This looks like a great mix, ive always listened very closely to the background music in NPR programs and it is always pretty interesting.
