Comment:
Out of all the post-punk bands that have at one time graced the music industry, certainly the one that has had the strongest influences on the industry today (though did not garner nearly as much success as others) is Britain's forgotten giants, Reverb and the Rabbitboys. Releasing four, nine song LPs from 1975-1978, they showed more spunk, creative flair, and harrowing loneliness than any band to date. Their first album, "Reverb and the Rabbitboys: Declare Guerre Nuclaire," has obvious influences on at least one modern band. So, next time you watch Donnie Darko, remember to thank Reverb and the Rabbitboys.Feedback:
hm. some sort of obscure joke?
Brilliant! Absolutely smashing! Surely, it takes a genius to compile such an outstanding compilation of outstanding songs! Utter gold, I dare say!
psh. you could almost say that Echo and the Bunnymen were the imaginary band, especially since half their original set was Reverb and the Rabbitboys cover tunes. know your stuff.
i hope now wouldn't be an inappropriate time to say i'm still interested in a trade.
