Comment:
In some ways the ideal band for a mix: Loads of brilliant moments lodged in albums which you wouldn't really care to hear from beginning to end, plus enough b-sides, oddities, and cover songs [most notably their bizarre cover of the entire Fleetwood Mac Tusk album, recorded in 1987 and recently released to the public] to mix things up. The album tracks here are arranged chronologically, the other stuff sprinkled about to keep the flow well-paced. A great, under-appreciated band.
Feedback:
I love Camper, but I haven't heard a lot of these tracks. Looks cool.
Looks great! Lots of favorites represented, including the Ringo Starr and Buzzcocks covers. Didn't know about them covering the Tusk album. I might want to trade for this someday.
Very cool idea. Once again, you stole my thunder, my friend.
By the way, I'll definitely want to trade for this...
Nice to see some props going to one of my favourite bands circa my teenage years. I agree with your assessment about their albums, although I think OBRS is pretty consistent throughout.
Great band AND great picks...and nice puppy!
Well done!
David Lowery played the black guitar. Great mix.
PS- when I was 15, and had no concept of liner notes, I thought Camper Van wrote O Death. To be 15...
