Are they brother and sister, or husband and wife? Hyuk, hyuk, hyuk. Boy, that mystery sure is important! I lie up allll night wondering: "Does he kiss her on the lips, or the forehead?", "Do they write a stunningly original track and then copulate, or watch a movie?" Maybe we'll never know, but, golly, it sure does delight me to constantly hear about them on MTV news! These two strapping young people show off exactly what it is to be a musician: you have to work hard, you have to be creative, and you have to make music that will last through the ages - surely the three things that most define the White Vines! - I mean the White Hives - Silly me! - The White Strokes. That's right, the White Strokes. So, if you're sitting at home and have not heard the delightful tracks that they spent hours in a studio lowering and lowering production quality (lo-fi is in!), then surely, there is nothing else out there that you could hear that would reflect the exact same thing - especially not nowadays! So I urge you to run out and purchase their album immediately, before another style replaces their popularity! Hyuk, hyuk, hyuk.
