Comment:

I have sort of a love/hate relationship with Radiohead's last couple of albums. I loved Kid A when it first came out, but I haven't listened to it in its entirety in over a year. I was never crazy about Amnesiac as a whole, but I think it has some strong songs. And some of the casted-off B-Sides are revelatory. So here's my stab at a definitive "Kid Amnesiac Sessions" disc. If anyone else wants to do one, I'd love to see it. (And I know this is probably destined to anger the more hardcore Radiohead fans in the audience. Meh.)

Edited because Prof. Poserlad is not wrong, and I hatehatehate odd-numbered tracklistings. "Everything" is an intensely comforting song, and reminds me of birth, whereas "Pyramid Song" is disturbing and makes me think of death and reincarnation. Now I must shutup.

I COMPLETELY agree with you about the love/hate relationship with Kid A and Amnesiac. I too, like most of Kid A, but never listen to it in it's entirety whereas I don't like Amnesiac much except for a few tracks that I think are wonderful. Look out for my posted list soon, I'm going to come up with one now.
