Comment:

On two 74-minute CD's. This is part one. I miss Metal music so much that I took some time to compile this very spread out bunch of reminders of why I love music in the first place. I was going to put all of the 'pussy-fied,' Metal on one disc, and then the darker, more evil on the other. I just decided against it. There's just something about the transition between the wimpiness of certain bands(Lillian Axe, for example), followed by something so punchy(like, say, Testament)that I almost break my neck from listening to it. I'm sure we can all get along. This mix will sound awesome in my car.

are those guys in the picture from Brantford or what? I think I saw that guy with the tie at Tim Hortons yesterday...in the same outfit.

My oh my, what have we started with the 80s metal mixes? I must admit, I almost forgot about Chuck Billy and Testament, who opened for Priest and Megadeth in what, 90? 91? and who still didn't play their big song (The Ballad)...DAD was a biggie...LA Guns continues to be sorely un-represented here at AOTM, as does Jet Boy, Circus of Power, SFH, and Budgie. Nice to see the Sleez Beez make the charts. Nice work, my friend, nice work. Vive la mullet...
