Paisley lad Paolo Nutini could have followed his dad into the family fish 'n' chip shop business, but luckily for us he traded sprinkling salt on fries for dusting the world with soul, charisma, and charm. After packing himself off to London as a green-gilled teenager, where he garnered the buzz that would secure him a record deal, Nutini introduced himself to the nation at large with debut single "Last Request" in 2006 before swiftly going global — his work has since appeared in episodes of [i]Grey's Anatomy[/i], [i]One Tree Hill[/i], and [i]Scrubs[/i]. Two albums into his career, we're already sure the fella is in it for the long haul — feel some of that Nutini magic, as hearts dissolve in a puddle of sheer pleasure to 2009 single "Candy", then crank up his rockin' side with "Jenny Don't Be Hasty" and watch his inner folkie unfold on a live version of "Beeswing".
