*sigh* Usually the deal with Nostalgiafests is *proceed with extreme caution* but this is just a fine collection of music from when alternative rock was just pre-total saturation and it seemed like great music was coming out faster than one could keep up; you've captured this era nicely: R.E.M. finally getting a numer one album... Smashing Pumpkins when they were still frsh and interesting... Soundgarden on the way up... My Bloody Valentine's apotheosis... Lollapalooza left-fielders Butthole Surfers being their irreverant selves... Slowdive being gorgeous... Slint defining first-wave emo... Primus at their Prime... Pixies throwing the fans a curveball... and nice of you to document Dinosaur Jr. and fIREHOSE putting out two of the finest popsongs of the year (so much was going on at the time that almost no one seemed to notice)... A fan-bloody-tastic job!
