I was shocked when my close friend Brad admitted one day, in a conversation about overrated bands and artists, that he could never get into Bob Dylan. Quizzing him more, I realized his peeve was with the extra-long talking blues songs. I explained that I thought a lot of the music he listened to (mostly lyrical lo-fi indie rock) was inspired by Dylan's style, and so I made him this comp to prove it somewhat. I don't have every Dylan album, which shows I'm sure, but these are some of my favorites. I stuck mostly with shorter more melodic songs, and there are a lot of love songs. This was created for a very specific purpose, but I like it a lot. And Rob Conroy, I am terrible -- I owe packages to about ten other people and it's all just been sitting in a corner of my room. I swear my roommate told me she would take me the post office sometime this week. Sorry times a million.
