Comment:

The title is from the fantastic Angels Of Light song, "Evangeline." A simple mix to sort out some of the 9/11 feelings the media is insisting I should be feeling, dredging back up, wallowing in. One year later, and the propaganda keeps on rolling along. The News Media: America at it's worst, reflecting on America at it's best. I'll get down from the soapbox now, except to say: Brian Wilson was right - Love and Mercy IS what we need tonight. God Bless Us, Every One...

This is a nice mix; but the media isn't insisting you feel anything. If you don't want to hear stories of heroism and loss and hope and fear, turn the TV off. I think your wrath at the media is misplaced. What exactly have they done here besides reflect what's going on in America? Family members who are being interviewed don't exactly look like they're being forced to talk. Maybe it will help them. Find something else to be mad about, like the people who did this. Nonetheless, good songs.
