Comment:

With so much power, style, and artistic integrity in his hip pocket, it's little wonder that Santana's been on everybody's A-list for four decades. At a time when most of his peers were retired, forgotten, or dead, then-78-year-old blues legend John Lee Hooker enlisted his longtime fan, friend, and collaborator Santana to carve a dark, hypnotic groove into his "Chill Out (Things Gonna Change)." Usually it's Carlos sitting in with someone else, but on the triple-GRAMMY® winner "Smooth," Matchbox Twenty's Rob Thomas turns the tables, delivering a vocal as slinky as Santana's guitar is scorching. And if you want to hear the Latin Rock torch being passed from generation to generation, check out Carlos shredding with rock en Español superstars Maná on "Corazon Espinado." Santana might be the only artist with both the skills and the class to record with artists from Willie Nelson to Angelique Kidjo, and we have them all — and more — right here.
