Comment:

More garage non-hits and wouldn't-be classics. This includes some tunes from the recently reissued (and somewhat disappointing) Mindrocker series. Still, there are some great tracks all around including the Fantastic Dee Jays from the Pittsburgh area (yay!). Rock on, my little friends. Oh, if anyone has the "Girls in the Garage" series on cd, let me know as I'd love to hear it (one of my fave tracks by the Chymes is on it).

Awesome stuff, my friend. Lots I don't know, and lots I hopefully will know. This is a must-have for me, and I'm sure everyone else who sees this will want it. Especially dig the Tikis and Wailers pix. extremely well done.

Very nice! I'd love to introduce my ears to it. I've got Girls in the Garage vol. 4 (vinyl) and 8 (CD). I think only a few of them were released on CD. If you or greaseball want to trade for them, let me know. I'd love to hear the other volumes as well.

I'll chime in with the rest of the choir. I'm sure this is quite excellent, based on reputation alone. :) I've really been enjoying my mixes from you, Sean, and you should get yours later this week.

Many faves here, but this round has a bunch of stuff I don't know. That's waht so great about garage, pick up the right series of reissues and you get a whole new batch of groups.
